Standard Scr Power Control

Jeltron SCR power controllers are ideally suited in electrically heated industrial furnaces for heat treatment such as hardening, tempering, annealing, sintering, brazing, melting, etc; and transformer control, DC power control, tungsten and quartz lamps, power supplies and extruders, etc. P-Series SCR power controllers are phase controlled units and provide smooth proportional output power from 0 to 98% in response to the low level input control signals. These units are ideally suited for all resistive, capacitive and inductive loads with a variety of pre-engineered options. Model 36P1 is 3-phase, phase angle controlled system designed for use with all three and four wire type loads. Model 1P1 units are phase angle controlled units using two back to back SCRs are designed for use with single-phase loads. Z-Series SCR power controller features integral cycle control to provide 0 to 98% proportional control of output power in response to the low level input control signals. Single/three phase power packs using integral cycle control eliminate EMI/RFI. Integral cycle control can be used for resistive loads only. Model 34Z1 units feature two-leg control. This method proportionally applies power to three phase loads by gating the inverse/parallel SCRs in two legs of a three-phase system. This provides an economical way for controlling three-wire 'Y' or 'Z' type loads with performance comparable to three leg units. Model 1Z1 units feature integral cycle control suitable for single-phase loads. Design features include multiple control inputs, adjustable soft start, adjustable current limit, adjustable current trip, line voltage regulation, hard firing gate pulses, SCR short detection, and phase loss indication.
