Square Body HRC Fuse Links & Fuse Holders

Kusum Engineering Works offers Square Body HRC Fuse Links and Fuse Holders. Superfuse high rupturing capacity fuse links, type KD, are of continental design with blade type contacts. They are the latest prestigious addition to the company’s super fuse range. Type KD HRC fuse links offer protection to cables, switchgear, control gears and other apparatus from electromagnetic and thermal stresses, which arise under short circuit conditions. By using appropriate KD type fuse links high short circuit currents cannot rise to the full peak value owing to the very short clearing time. Unfavourable effects of the short circuit on the switchgear are thus prevented. The fuse links are provided with spring actuated red indicating pin which gives positive indication of the blowing of fuse links. Salient features: range offered 6 A to 630 A in 4 body sizes with breaking capacity of > 80 kA at 415 V; KD range of fuses are supplied with fusing factor 1.5 and non fusing factor 1.2; very low power loss in KD range of fuses ensures cool running; KD range provides consistency in performance as per predetermined l2t and cut off current; extremely low let through l2t and cut off current during short circuits; and reliable visual indication of fuse operation.
