Residual Current Monitoring Systems (RCMS)

For more than 60 years, Dipl-Ing W Bender GmbH & Co KG offers measuring, monitoring and protective systems to monitor the electrical safety of machines and systems. To ensure effective preventive maintenance and higher levels of operational and plant safety, the following aspects of power supplies must be monitored continuously: fault/residual currents, operating currents, stray currents and currents in N and PE conductors. In addition, faults must be located quickly and the service personnel provided with all the relevant information. The ideal solution for this task: the RCMS multi-channel residual current monitoring system. This system is able to detect AC, pulsating or AC/DC currents as true rms values. The measured values are written to the history memory, where they are stored ready for evaluation. Up to a total of 1080 measuring points can be monitored, whereby the maximum scanning time for all channels is less than 200 ms. This makes it easy to monitor even time-critical applications that require a sh
