Pulse/Rate Meters

Autonics offers Pulse/Rate Meter, MP5 Series. This is basically tachometer. Both non-contact input and contact input can be connected to the equipment. The maximum input speed can be 50 kHz for the non-contact input and 45 Hz for the contact input. Power supply is 100-240 V AC, 5-digit LED display, display range is -19999 to 99999. NPN or PNP input can be selected. The input can be from a switch or from rotary encoders, proximity sensor, photoelectric sensor, fibre optic sensor or a dry contact like relay, limit switch and micro switch. It can be locked to prevent the access of the program. The typical dimensions are 48 x 48, 72 x 36, 96 x 48, and 72 x 72 mm. It can chosen for indication or for 5 relay or transistor outputs depending on the requirement. Means one can get change in output for five different speeds. NO or NC configuration is possible for the outputs. Scaling of input to display engineering units is possible. Various communication techniques like RS485, PV 4-20 mA, low speed serial output, BCD dynamic output are available with these units. It can be used for 13 kinds of various operation modes: frequency measurement, speed measurement, number of revolutions measurement, absolute rate, passing time, error rate, cycle, density, passing speed, error ratio, time width, time interval, interval integration, length measurement. The programming of these pulse meter series is simple and exhaustive flexibility is available for different applications depending on the imagination.
