Messals Overseas (India) offers Digital High Voltage Insulation Tester from Kyoritsu, Japan. It is a new high function and performance insulation resistance tester. This is a microprocessor controlled, digital high voltage instrument with 4 ranges of 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V and 5000 V as the rated test voltage. It measures insulation resistance up to 1 Tera Ohm. Useful features: Auto-discharge function ? when insulation resistance is measured electric charges stored in capacitive circuits are automatically discharged by releasing the test button; Backlight function ? there is backlight present to view the test results in dimly lit areas and analogue and digital bargraph to display measured result. It gives a warning indication (symbols) and beep for live circuits; Auto power off function ? to prevent the instrument being left powered on and to conserve battery power, the instrument automatically turns off approximately 10 minutes after the last switch operation; Timer measurement function ? it automatically performs a measurement at the set time; and Polarisation index measurement ? the polarisation index can be measured by the automatic measurement function of the ratio of resistance in arbitrary two point time.
