Variable Speed Belt Drives

Die cast aluminium alloy variable speed drives for application on machines and equipment where higher speed ratios and compact size form the main criteria. These variable speed drives consists of two variable speed pulleys and wide V-belt. The driving pulley is mechanically adjustable control pulley and the driven pulley is spring loaded. The drive is designed to withstand frequent speed changes as well as to run at set speed for long periods. Variation of the output speed is obtained by adjusting the screw spindle provided on the control pulley. The drive is dynamically, balanced, bores are pre-broached to H9 tolerance, keyways are to IS: 2710. The drives are available for motor power ratings from 0.18 kW to 18.5 kW in speed variation ratios up to 1:7. The drives can be universally mounted in C & Z styles.
