Power Controller

Autonics Corporation offers single-phase power controllers, SPC1-35 and SPC1-50, with 35 and 50 A rating respectively. The operating voltage is 230 V AC. These power controllers offer various kinds of inputs like 4-20 mA, 1-5 V DC, external variable resistor, external 24 V DC or potential free contact input. Various terminal options have been available for different input options. So the output power would be controlled through any one of these input options. The various functional options make this device as unique for different kind of applications. By using output adjusting (Out Adj- trimmer switch) function, the user can define output ratio relating with control input signal. These controllers offer soft start function by which the operator can select time period to control starting current (0~50 sec VR setting available) to save the precious load. Autonics power controller offers 3 kinds of control methods by selecting from mode switches: 1) Phase control 2) Cycle control 3) On/Off control. Both cycle control and On/Off control modes are having zero-cross feature, which will remove switching noise by switching power exactly at zero point of AC supply. The automatic conversion of 50/60 Hz feature made this device universal to any supply. These power controllers are coming with natural cooling method by heat sink plates. The LED indicator on the top indicates the status of output by its brightness variation. This controller can be used only for resistive loads.
