Electric Power from Exercise Bike

Innovations Unlimited offers an innovative product – an exercise bike that generates electric power. This exercise bike comes with all kinds of indications like load, rate of working, calories lost, heart beat, etc. This new invention, simply converts the human energy spent, into electricity, which is stored in a maintenance free battery, for use at other time. It has a 140 W DC generator of special design. The bike has low inertia, so as to have excellent efficiency of power generation. The following are the features: 1) One hour cycling will store 100 W/hr of energy. This will operate a fan, an LED light and a good night light, all on 12 V DC for 4 hours; 2) 15 minutes of cycling, connected to a water heater, will provide a cup of tea or coffee; 3) A TEC (thermoelectric) 35 W, cooler/warmer will cool beer/soft drinks, or will keep drinks warm; 4) 1 hour cycling will run a TV black and white, for 5 hours; and 5) Mobile batteries and laptops can be charged. So exercise can be put to profitable use. The know how is available for commercial exploitation.
