Slotted Disc Springs

International Industrial Springs has launched a new range of Slotted Disc Springs. These special slotted disc springs are manufactured for standard ball bearing application, slotted around the inside diameter. These springs are used to provide axial preload, backlash compensation, absorb excessive running sound, reduce degree of stress on the bearing and bearing protection. Slotted ball bearing disc springs with high deflection at low spring force characteristic are increasingly required for use with small size ball bearings. The outside diameter (OD) ranges from 9.8-94.5 mm (0.386"-3.72"). The company has all standard sizes in stock from 9.8 up to 94.5 mm (0.386"-3.72"). It has successfully achieved flatness through a special heat treatment process and full contact area, which helps in uniform preload around the bearings.
