International Industrial Springs has installed a Zinc Flake Coating plant in 20,000 sq.ft area with a 25 kg capacity with one dip spin machine, shot blasting machine and a belt conveyer electric furnace and cooler. The minimum production capacity is 200 kg/shift. The process of coating is two base coats and one top coat, and scope includes all coating all fastener products. The company has own testing lab with all testing facilities like coating thickness, coating weight, salt spry test, dip flow cup for checking paint viscosity. Zintek 200 zinc flake basecoat offers highly effective anti-corrosion protection. This basecoat provide highly effective anti-corrosion protection with relatively thin coating. Zintek 200 is free from of any harmful heavy metals such as Cr-(VI). No hydrogen embrittlement occurs in the application of Zintek 200. Corrosion resistance: 1. Basecoat – 8 µm, topcoat – 1 µm, time – 800 hrs; 2. Basecoat – 10 µm, topcoat – 1 µm, time – 1000 hrs; and 3. Basecoat – 15 µm, topcoat – 1 µm, time – 1500 hrs. Coefficient of friction (µtot) = 0.16-0.20.
