Hollow Rubber Springs

Resistoflex offers Hollow Rubber Springs. These are used where a hollow centre is formed from thick conical column, which prevents bulking even under extreme condition of axial compressive deflection. These gives progressive (variable increasing, i.e., non-linear) spring rate (stiffening) characteristics, which is ideal for protection against impact shock or accidental overload. These are having high axial compressible elasticity for taking large amplitudes of movement and low natural frequency for high degree of vibration isolation. The springs also have very low damping to give increased durability due to excellent fatigue resistance quality. There is hardly any permanent set. This results in freedom from maintenance. These are normally available in natural rubber in single, double and triple convolution. Applications are suspension system in road vehicles, railway coaches, supporting vibrating screens on fabricated structure, etc. These are manufactured as per the international standards.
