A joint venture between Firestone Industrial Product Company LLC, USA and Sundaram Industries, a TVS Group company, Firestone TVS manufactures air springs for automotive applications apart from rail and industrial applications. The automotive product range of the company includes air springs for use in commercial vehicles, and cab air springs. An ISO 9001: 2008 certified company, Firestone TVS manufactures the springs at its well-equipped manufacturing infrastructure at Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India. The facility is claimed to be the first of its kind in India, and produces springs that confirm to high standards of quality and reliability. Offering a comprehensive range of air springs for bus, truck, rail, and industrial applications to OEMs as well as the aftermarket in India, the company has acquired its manufacturing and technology expertise from Firestone Industrial Products. The company has tapped into the TVS Group's distribution and customer service experience in the automotive market.
