Tornado rotary joints, available from FAR Hydraulics, convey fluid under pressure from a stationary source to a rotating system or vice versa. They are also referred to as rotating unions, rotary couplings, swivel joints etc. Tornado rotary joints are available in different models with maximum pressure rating of 350 kg/cm2, speeds up to 2000 RPM and flow capacities up to 250 LPM. Rotary distributor valves/joints are rotary joints with an integral valving specifically made for hydraulic clamping application in rotary transfer machining systems. Applications: earth moving equipment, material handling equipment, machine tools, hydro electric turbines, special purpose machines, mobile cranes, test rigs & simulators, automation, mining equipments, etc.
