Couplings

TB Wood"s Inc offers Size 70 and 80 Dura-Flex couplings. They are intended for variablespeed and variable-torque requirements in pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, mixers, and conveyors. The split-in-half element technology used eliminates the need to move heavy equipment for installation. The design of the couplings also moves stress away from the bond to maximise flex life. The flex element optimises performance and provides superior chemical and weathering properties. It consists of a polyurethane material bonded to steel shoes and bolted to metallic shaft hubs. The Dura-Flex couplings are directly interchangeable with similar elastomeric couplings.
