Universal testing machine

This is a micro-processor based machine from Kalpak Instruments. It is a highly sophisticated and flexible instrument used for common mechanical tests such as tensile, compression, tear, shear, flexure, insertion, bending, extraction, etc. The test data analysis software in Windows enables the user to analyse the data in terms of peak load, % elongation, stress/ strain graph, load/ length graph, Young"s modulus, etc. In standalone mode, the test data can be printed directly. Features: loading frame - table mount/standalone unit as per application; drive mechanism - single/twin ball screw driven by variable speed drive for zero backlash and excellent length accuracy; testing area - dual space, ie, above and below moving cross head; load capacity - up to 10000 Kgf as per the application; and load accuracy - better than 0.2 % of full scale. Application: testing of tensile and compression springs; testing of rubber, plastics, fibres, filaments, foils, belts, wire ropes etc; peel and adhesion testing of tapes, stickers, laminates; flexure and shear testing of sample operational/actuation force testing of switches, connectors, crimped terminals, solenoids and relays; crush/compression strength testing of boards, pouches, cams, boxes, etc.
