Shree Ganesh Plastingeers offers a sleek but robust tear tester, which can measure tear resistance in plastic films. The design of operation is made operator friendly and simple for interpretation of the results. It is a bench top model with all required accessories ready to operate. Plastics films have found such a high magnitude of its consumption in packaging and other fields that paper packing is almost a past fact. Increasing application demands better quality and specific property requirement for the intended use. The major drawback that the films offer is somewhat poor resistance to tearing after some sort of crack initiation. This is an ideal tester to eliminate this drawback. Specifications: measuring range - 0.200 gm (augmenting possible); specimen jig - rectangular or semicircle type (as per the requirements); standard accessories - specimen cutting jig, spirit level, cutting knife, augmenting weight (optional).
