This is to ensure uniform dispersion of carbon black in the polymer substrate, which influences the product's characteristics and is therefore vital to check. The beautiful and still accurate model relieves eye strain from the general microscope's eyepiece focussing and is its distinct feature. A screen, which projects the image, is a very convenient means to evaluate the results at any magnifications. A source of illumination at the base ensures a better and sharp figure on the screen. The cross hairs in the eyepiece enables even the particle size measurement. Also supplied along with is a hot plate with glass slides for specimen preparation. An optional attachment can convert this apparatus into a melting point apparatus with electronic remote for temperature hold.
