Tap Density Tester

Electrolab introduces a microprocessor-based tap density tester, ETD-2. It offers a simple and standard means of measuring the tapped density of powders, granules and similar products. The ergonomically designed system has an acoustically designed body for reducing noise level. It supports both USP I and USP II methods of testing. Two independent holders are designed as per USP to hold the 250 ml and 100 ml cylinders. The tester works in two modes USP and USER. In USP mode, the test will run in selected method with USP specified taps and the final results like tapped density, compressibility index and Hausner ratio are then calculated and displayed on 24 character X 2 line LCD display. In USER mode it can be programmed from 1 to 9,999 number of taps for ease of operation. Optional parallel port is for printer, and serial port for computer interface.
