Spring tester, automatic

Kalpak"s Automatic spring tester is most versatile and comprehensive test equipment both for online and offline testing of springs. It has much better accuracy and resolution than mechanical testers and has a range of 1 to 100 kg with accuracy of 0.1% of full scale. The system comprises of two parts, viz. micro-processor based electronic hardware circuit and mechanical loading frame. The unit creates two test spaces below and above the moving platen by using two load cells. The 100 kg load cell is mounted at the bottom of the loading frame and 10 kg load cell is mounted at the top of it. The load resolution is 0.01 kg for load cell 10 kg, and 0.1 kg for 100 kg. The ball screw moves the platen up and down and ensures zero backlash and excellent accuracy for length measurement. The digital linear scale shall be used for length measurement with resolution of 0.01 mm. The maximum length measurement is 200 mm. The spring tester is fully automatic and can be operated in manual mode as well. Alternately it can be interfaced with a PC or a printer.
