Portable Measuring System, Moveinspect XR

AICON has developed a new Portable Measuring System, MoveInspect XR that measures components with a size up to several meters quickly and with high accuracy, in a process that is much easier and more reliable. With MoveInspect XR, the company offers its customers the usual measurement comfort of MoveInspect Technology now also for the quality assurance of big objects. It can now handle large measuring volumes in only one set-up. Most measuring arms would have to be repositioned several times. And the new system uses only two cameras. Two digital cameras with 8 megapixels each are positioned on the camera bar. Hence MoveInspect XR is twice as precise as the previously strongest MoveInspect system. It attains the same measurement accuracy with twice as big measuring volumes, e.g. large devices or vehicle components. MoveInspect XR is designed for probing applications with the handheld MI.Probe. It is as portable and mobile as the other systems of MoveInspect Technology. And thanks to dynamic referencing, MoveInspect XR works with constant reliability even in production environment with dust and vibrations. It is part of AICON’s modular MoveInspect Technology system family and is combinable with all hardware and software components specified therein. Thus, users can easily extend their existing MoveInspect system for new measuring tasks. MoveInspect XR will be introduced by AICON at the Control Show 2013 in Stuttgart/Germany, and can be ordered as of now; delivery starts in September 2013.
