Liquid Limit Device

Erection & Instrumentation Engineers is a manufacturer and exporter of a wide range of soil, cement-concrete and bitumen testing instruments, survey instruments, etc. Model TM-090 liquid limit device is a hand operated instrument. Liquid limit is that water content at which a part of soil cut by a groove of standard dimension will flow together for a distance of 1.25 cm under air impact of 25 blows in standard liquid limit apparatus. It consists of a brass cup held on adjustable brackets. It is supplied with grooving tools along with a 10 mm thick plate to adjust the height of blow. The counter is also fitted with it to register the number of blow (as per IS: 2720-Part V). The motorised version is the same as above but fitted with a motor geared down to give 120 RPPM operating on 220 V, single phase AC supply.
