Gel Time Apparatus, 82?C

Western Electronic Appliances offers gel time apparatus for polyester resin, used to determine gel time at 82o C. The apparatus mainly consists of the following parts: round-bottom flask with ground glass back; Leibig condenser with ground glass joint; adoptor; heat resistant test tube; and 6 mm dia glass stirring rod. The round bottom flask is kept over a tripot stand under which the bunsen burner is placed. Over the neck of this flask an adaptor is fitted through the side opening of adopter, connected to Leibig condenser to condense the vapour alcohol. Over the top opening a test tube is mounted, in which another smaller dimension test tube is placed. The stirrer is provided to stir the specimen.
