Gear Roll Tester

Minimatic has developed a gear roll tester, Model MGRT-225, made from closed gained cast iron FG 200 and stress reliving by heat treatment process. Highly accurate machining and fitment of a new lever mechanism concept gives high accuracy of measurement and very good repeatability. For loading the job, two vertical centres are provided – one fixed at the bottom, and the top centre spring loaded and set at maximum length. The master gear is mounted on lever mechanism mandrel and released by lever. This unit is spring loaded to give uniform and natural dimension by dial indicator. One slide provides the movement by a screw and maximum rough setting can be done by the hand wheel. The centre distance is 225 mm, and gear shaft length is 250 mm.
