It has X Y and radial movement that together with ball pin fitted on the opposite side of dial indicator give the exact deviation of PCD error. The unit is universal so any gear, viz., spur gear, bevel gear, spline can be checked. The ball pin is available from 3 mm to 10 mm or custom made for any special diameter.
