ASEC Solutions offers a Flow Leak Testers – ET 97W, from For Test, Italy, representing the best solution on the market in terms of precision, flexibility and execution speed of tests with measure in flow rate. This instrument allows to measure in a direct way the airflow generated by the leak-off rate. ET97W is composed of a pneumatic circuit optimised in order to reduce the filling times, a mass flow sensor, a pressure sensor and an electronic pressure regulator, that guarantees stable and safe test pressures without the operator assistance. The instrument detects the leaks through continuous seal measure of the pressurised piece, this method allows to reduce drastically the time of the test phase. ET97W is specially used in seal tests where the volume of the piece is unknown and variable, when the leak entity is so elevated that a drop in pressure system does not succeed to maintain constant the test pressure and finally when is requested a continuous leak measurement in order to allow the operator to look for and repair the same one. Flow leak testers are ideally suited for applications where the leakage rate allowed is very high. The instrument has a very good repeatability. The cycle time for testing the component is reduced drastically, which increases the productivity. Two bar graph indicators are provided in the instrument, which help the operator to easily monitor the test pressure at which he is testing the part and also the flow rate observed during the test phase.
