Electronic Universal Testing Machine

Fine Spavy's Universal Testing Machines have a wide range of applications. A number of materials, metals and non-metals in different forms and shapes can be tested for tension, compression, transverse, bend, shear, and Brinell hardness, on these machines. User areas include: foundries, forging plants, engineering industries, electrode manufacturers, research laboratories,and engineering colleges. The machine consists of a loading unit and a control panel. The loading unit has an arrangement for properly fixing the test specimen and loading it by means of a loading cylinder. The control panel houses the hydraulic power pack, load measuring system, various controls and a digital display for the load. The machine has a load measurement accuracy of ?1% as per IS:1828. The load measurement is effected by means of a very sensitive pressure transducer which is subjected to the same pressure of oil as that of the main hydraulic cylinder. The display for elongation is also digital. Facilities like peak-hold, tare, zero setting for both load and elongation are provided. After the test is completed machine stops automatically and the results with graph can be printed. These machines are manufactured in different capacities ranging from 100 kN to 2,000 kN to meet a variety of demands in various applications. Different sizes of specimens, round or flat or having typical shapes, can be accommodated with the help of suitable grips.
