Earth Bond Test Set

Lumetron EC-5 Earth Bond Test Set is designed to perform tests specified in many standards where the effectiveness of earthbonding is required to be established. The instrument is used to test domestic electrical appliances, luminaires, wiring accessories, motors and other AC mains operated equipment for safety norms. It enables to determine the contact resistance between accessible metal parts and the device earth by passing a high current and measuring the resultant voltage drop. The instrument is of rugged construction, suitable for either industrial or laboratory use. It complies with the requirements of various Indian and International Standards Specifications. Precision meters with 3.5-digit bright LED displays are used for indicating voltage and current. The dual range voltmeter ensures precise readings. The test set has a heavy duty low impedance variable output supply. The test probe is impact resistant PVC with a spring loaded copper tip. The earth terminal has a heavy duty copper lug to ensure secure contact with the device under test. The unit is supplied complete with connection cables, spare fuses, comprehensive User's Manual, 1-year warranty and traceable calibration report.
