Two-Setpoint Temperature Indicator/Controller

Radix Pyrotech offers Ektra 2SP, a reliability engineered temperature indicator/controller with 2 setpoints. It accepts Pt-100 input (0.1% accuracy), J or K thermocouples (I% accuracy) as well as linear (voltage/current) inputs. It has a high efficiency, 3-1/2 digit, 0.56"(15 mm) red LED display and features a low-power, zero-wiring modular design. It features On/Off control with user settable hysterisis, or time-proportioning control with user adjustable reset. Each setpoint is adjusted on a multiturn potentiometer with the membrane key switch pressed. The contacts of a 7 A/230 V AC relay are used for control (1 relay for each setpoint). A unique design approach not only allows it to work accurately in ambient temperatures up to 60?C, but results in an order of magnitude improvement in reliability. Options include a 4 to 20 mA output and power supply for a 4 to 20 mA input. Ektra 2SP is housed in a 96 x 96 x 150 mm ABS case and has an elegant membrane facia. Also available in this series are Ektra OSP, Ektra 1 SP, Ektra 4SP, featuring non, 1, and 4 setpoints, respectively, as well as 4-1/2 digit versions.
