Chroma Electronics manufacture Thermocouple/RTD Sensors to suit customers’ specifications and in shapes such as needle (immersion application), leaf (surface temperature), bow (round and rotating surface temperature), spring loaded (plastic industries), mineral insulated, ceramic, washer type, gas probe, etc., in different sheathing like SS 304, SS 310, SS 316, inconel 600, ceramic 610, ceramic 710 as per temperature specifications. Thermocouple grade wire of Cr/Al in size of 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 36 SWG and 3.20/2.50/2.3/2/1.6/1.5/1.2/.9/.7 mm, J type in 24, 30, 36 SWG, etc. The company also offers extension grade element wires of Cr/Al, Fe/K, Cu/K, etc., in PVC or FFSS. Applications are in industries like chemical, textile, steel plant, plastic, glass, etc. According to the required temperature range, minimum/maximum temperature to be measured and the type of sensor to be used, the company also undertakes to manufacture instruments as per customer’s requirements.
