Chroma Electronics offers Digital Temperature Controllers to cover the temperature selection range from 0-100 deg C to 0-1200 deg C. It accepts a variety of inputs as RTD 3-wire system and thermocouples as J, K, R, S, and T, etc. It operates on 230 V AC mains. It has an accuracy of better than 1% of full scale. The display is 31/2 digit bright red LED of 12.5 mm height. It has an open sensor indication. The user can set the temperature by pressing the set temperature switch and adjusting the multi-turn pot. Output is via one set of change over relay contacts rated 5 A at 230 V AC. The case is of standard DIN size, viz., panel cut-out 92 x 92 mm and depth is 150 mm. Users are industries like chemicals, textiles, steel plants, plastic, glass, etc., according to the required temperature range, minimum/maximum temperature to be measured and the type of sensor to be used. The company also undertakes to manufacture instruments as per customers’ requirements.
