Temperature Indicating Label/Strip

A simple, cost effective and accurate temperature measurement/monitor can be made using VPL irreversible temperature indicating strips/labels (VPL-Label). To monitor the surface temperature, the required temperature strip/label should be affixed on the surface of the object. A white crystalline solid, sealed under heat resistant and transparent window, changes from white colour to black colour once surface of the object attains to the rated temperature of the circle. Six types of strips/labels are available: single (70°C through 120°C with 10°C interval); double (70°C and 100°C, 110°C – in various combinations); three level (70°C, 80°C, 90°C – in various other combinations); four levels (70°C, 80°C, 90°C, 100°C – several combinations); five levels (80°C deg C, 90°C deg C, 100°C deg C, 110°C deg C, 120°C deg C), etc; and eight levels (50°C, 75°C, through 225°C with 25° interval). Various temperature range combinations are available. Tailor made ranges and designs are also manufactured and supplied to suit customer requirements. Features: +/- 1% accuracy, self adhesive, oil, water and steam resistant, simple, reliable and cost effective. Applications: numerous applications exist for temperature indicating labels, However, these strips are most commonly used to determine/monitor operating temperature in high voltage switching, wave soldering, overheat detection of motor and cable, etc., printing, plastics, electrical and electronic industries, casting, moulding, rubber extruding, cooling water radiator temperature, and aeronautical industries.
