Snap Action Disc Thermal Cutout

Mikron offers a very extensive range of snap action automatic reset (available with both normally open and normally closed contact), manual reset and one shot thermal cutouts. These are available with screw or stud mounting and protects the equipment against overheat by switching off the power supply. These are also known as thermal switch or temperature switch or thermal cut off. Applications: washing machines, dish washers, hot case, deep fryers, hand dryers, coffee machines, vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, snack toasters, electric kettle, heating pad, instant & storage electric water geysers, induction heating equipments, overheat projectors, flame proof equipment, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), invertors, automobile, photocopy machines, boilers, heat sinks, batter chargers, thyristors, fire alarms, welding rectifiers, ultrasonic cleaners, sterilisers, SMPS, etc. The company uses imported snap action disc, which ensures better, reliable and chatter free operation, double break system ensures high switching performance, long service life and temper proof setting. The switching system is current insensitive and reacts to external thermal load only. These thermal cutouts are available in temperature range from 40°C to 250°C (at an interval of 10°C) in 6, 10 and 16 A capacity in small frame size and 70°C to 120°C (at an interval of 10°C) in 16 and 20 A capacity in large frame size.
