Mikron Control offers several models of snap action automatic and manual reset disc type thermal cut out. These are designed for industrial, electronics and domestic electrical appliances such as vacuum cleaners, geysers, coffee machines, electric kettles, food warmers, rice cookers, xerox machines, microwave ovens, toasters, dish washers, electric blankets, heating pads, heat sinks, motors, overhead projectors, induction furnace, UPS, invertors, etc, where precise control of temperature is required. The cut outs are rated at 6, 8, 10 and 250V AC having operating temperature 60(C to 190(C (at an interval of 10(C). These are available with normally closed (NC) as well as with normally open (NO.) contacts. The thermal response system operates by means of a snap action bimetallic disc. The switch system is current insensitive and reacts to external thermal load. The snap action ensures chatter free operation, high switch performances along with long service life.
