Streamline Controls offer Programmable PID Temperature Controller, Model SCTC 1, based on the latest industrially proven micro-controller technology. Time proportional PID action offers better accuracy of control up to ±°C. It can accept thermocouple J/K/R/S/T and RTD inputs and provide two single change over relay N/O type outputs. It can accept a wide range of AC inputs from 90 to 260 V AC. A single micro-controller chip completes all the high-resolution A/D converters, cold junction compensation and PID calculation. It comprises of 4 membrane keys to facilitate user-friendly programming. A 7-segment, 4 LED display provides the process value. It displays "opn" indication for thermocouple open condition. All values and parameters are stored in a non volatile memory, using E2PROM technology, which is retained up to 10 years even if the unit is left un-powered. This eliminates the need for batteries. It offers programmable control parameters like proportional band, integral (reset) time, derivative (rate) time and cycle time, which can he more precisely set to fine tune the process variable with the set point. It is available in two sizes 48 x 96 x 100 mm and 96 x 96 x 100 mm. It is suitable for the industries like plastic, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, food processing, ovens, etc.
