PID Temperature Controller, Six Channel Type

Streamline Controls offers programmable six channel PID temperature controller SCTC-6 in a very compact size of 96x96x150 (mm). It is based on the latest, industrially proven, microcontroller technology which ensures the best reliability. Time proportional PID action offers better accuracy with automatic cold junction compensation. It accepts six thermocouple (J/K/R/S/T) inputs simultaneously and provides twelve relay (optional solid state) outputs (two per channel), capable of driving an AC contactor coil. A separate potential free relay output is provided for alarm output. It comprises of enhanced user friendly membrane keyboard to program/run the controller. Seven segment LED displays provides the complete process information which indicates the setpoint, process variable and channel number simultaneously. Individual LED indications are also provided to display the status of each output and alarm. It displays OPN and REV indications for thermocouple open and reverse conditions, respectively. Extensive programming features for each channel include individual channel On/Off, setpoint, proportional band, reset time (integral, rate (derivative), cycle time, blower point, alarm high/low, thermocouple selection, offset and display scan time as a common parameter. The security of all the programmable parameters is ensured by latest E PROM technology. It is suitable for industries like plastic, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, food processing, ovens, etc.
