Capillary Thermostats

SaiEgo range of capillary thermostats is designed for accurate and reliable temperature control for domestic appliances and industrial equipments. The assembly of these thermostats consist of capillary tube, sensing bulb and diaphragm (phial) filled with liquid, fixed in the plated MS housing and moulded Bakelite switch base. A black Bakelite knob with white scale markings calibrated in °C is provided to set the desired temperature. These thermostats work on the principle of thermal expansion, with temperature rise the expansion of liquid filling the phial causes the opening of snap action switch located in the case, i.e., a single pole single throw, normally closed circuit breaks (opens) on rise of temperature. This instrument keeps constant within the differential the temperature of any fluid or solids heated by electricity, gas or oil. It is used in washing machines, coffee vending machines, dishwashers, fryers, electric cooker, hot water appliances, industrial boilers, grills, ovens, deep fryer, cooking range, storage heater, oil burners, sterlizer roaster, dryers, oil bath, water bath incubation other domestic and industrial equipments, plastic moulding machine, kitchen equipments and laboratory instruments, etc. These are available in three temperature ranges of 30 to 85°C, 30 to 110°C and 50 to 300°C. These thermostats can also be made on request in any copper capillary length up to 3 m, normally open contacts (NOC) and with SS capillary.
