Level Switch, Low-Cost

Cristal Instruments offers compact and reliable low-cost miniature type Level Switch suitable for side mounting in small tanks and containers. The stem of the assembly contains a hermetically sealed reed switch completely isolated from liquid medium. The float contains a permanent magnet. As the float rises or falls with the level of the liquid, the reed switch is activated by the magnet. The switch can be used either as NO or NC based on the application. Switch rating of 15 W is standard, higher rated switches are optional. Wetted parts of SS-304/SS-316/PP are offered. The mounting connection is ¼” BSP male with lock nut is standard. This switch is suitable for maximum temperature of 150°C and pressure of 2 kg/cm², and also available for vertical mounting. It is applied for boiler and other heavy-duty applications, other standard models with weather-proof/flame-proof construction are also available at short notice.
