Flow Switch - Paddle

Cristal offers switches of paddle/vane type (Model: CFS-250). Paddle/vane types are recommended for higher line sizes and flow ranges. Flow Switches are tested for maximum pressure of 10 bar and suitable for temperature up to 200°C. Process connection for Paddle type is 1" BSP (M) std.

Principle of Operation:

Liquid or gas flow is sensed by the freely suspended paddle/disc through the bellow-sealed design, creating movement of SS paddle/disc against the spring force which is pre-set at a determined flow rate. A precision spring ensures repeatability and high degree of operation. No magnetic parts are employed. The bellow is sealed to ensure positive isolation between switch assembly and process fluid. The bellow movement corresponding to flow allows to actuate the sensor switch of micro-switch of 1 NO + 1 NC contacts having current rating 5A115A at 240 V AC.
