Timer for Air-Conditioner

Chroma Electronics offers Timer for Air-Conditioner, a micro-controller based device with quartz crystal for accurate timings. It is housed in a sturdy metallic case. It operates on 230V AC. A mains output socket is provided to connect with the AC directly. An auto/manual (A/M) switch is provided to bypass the timer, i.e., in Auto mode the AC will operate as per the timersettings but in Manual mode the timer will not come in picture. The mains circuit breaker safeguards the AC against short-circuits, spikes surges, over loading, etc. Operation: when the timer is switched On, there will be fix power-on delay to increase the life of compressor. Master On and Master Off timings decide the status of timer. During Master On, the AC will remain On in Cyclic On mode and Off in Cyclic Off mode. During Master Off the AC will shut off completely. Set-up: 1) Switch On the timer; 2) Press run/program button, Master On LED will blink; 3) Press shift to select digit, press increment to set the time; 4) Press select, Master Off LED will blink; 5) Repeat step (3); 6) Press select, Cyclic On LED will blink; 7) Repeat step (3); 8) Press Select, cyclic Off LED will blink; 9) Repeat step (3); and 10) Press run/program button to come out of Program mode.
