The Grain Moisture Meter is a microprocessor based highly versatile instrument to measure the moisture content in grains. The instrument is pre-programmed to measure the water content in 5 different types of grains. The grain moisture content is an important parameter sought by both the producers and the buyers. It determines the shelf life of grains, its taste, quality and the price. Knowledge of this parameter is also helpful to determine the extent of drying necessary before storing the product. The instrument is calibrated for the grains like wheat, rice, chana, tur, tur dal, can also be customized for other grains.
