Dust Density Meter

Toshniwal Sensing Devices offers a high sensitivity dust density meter. Model DDM-FC is a microprocessor based pollution level monitoring system based on light scattering principle. It consists of a detector head, fibre optic cables, main control box and air purge control box, and can be installed in stack at any industry for continuous monitoring of dust density in stack. In case of higher dust density than preset level, it provides alarm for corrective action like repair or replacement of filter bag thus preventing major pollution accident and trouble to surrounding factories and residents. The unit is provided with 4~20 mA output and RS 232C interface and data of dust density can be saved and later analysed for the time, duration extent and cause of any pollution accident to help to decide more effective preventive measures in the future. DDM-FC is capable of measuring dust density as low as 1 mg/Nm3 accurately. As detector has no electronic part and fibre optic cable is used to transmit light signal from detector to main control box, the system can be installed at locations with higher temperature and high pressure. The system is practically maintenance free.
