Ultrasonic Level Transmitters

Omicron Sensing Pvt Ltd offers Ultrasonic Level Transmitters – Model ML8-EY. An ultrasonic wave is pulsed 2 times a second. The same transducer receives the reflection of this pulse. The time difference between the time of pulse and the reflection corresponds to the distance of the reflecting object from the transducer. Since speed of sound is dependent on the temperature of air, inbuilt temperature sensors monitor and compensate for variation in sound speed over the entire working range. Pump-in/out: the ultrasonic transmitter can be configured for high/low level control applications, wherein the flow into or out of a tank is to be controlled. Model ML-8EY is a compact transmitter designed for use in tanks and silos. This transmitter provides stable readings, accuracy and reliable measurements in many applications. The calibration switches at the connection head of the transmitter enable easy calibration. Features: non contact level measurement with LCD indication/4-20 mA output and SPDT switches; accurate/reliable measurement from 0.3 m to 40 m; in-built temperature sensor – automatic temperature compensation over entire temperature range; 10º beam angle for minimum interference; LCD displays level/volume/programmable parameters; all parameters programmable from keypad; and relay output built-in.
