Omicron Sensing Inc, USA, has introduced a precise Vortex Flowmeter, the ultimate in the measurement of steam and compressed air flow. The series F8200 consists of high accuracy compensation sensors to measure the minute changes in pressure and temperature, delivering the best in class accuracy of up to ±0.5% of full scale. The F8200 vortex features an inbuilt flow computer to calculate the steam and compressed air flow. Paying attention to intricate details, the flowmeters are designed for excellent resistance to shocks, vibration and over-pressure. Although calibrated for a specific media, the flowmeter can be re-ranged for any specific media and range through the onboard buttons. The F8200 features a non-wearing, fully welded stainless steel construction with high corrosion, pressure and temperature resistance. A complete plug and play solution for any application, any media. The F8200 transmitter is the industry standard to measure vapour and saturated steam. The same transmitter can also be configured to monitor and measure the consumption of compressed air and industrial gases. With various ranges and compatibility with almost all media, the F8200 can be used for any application from line size of 15NB up to 1000NB. The transmitter can be optionally supplied with temperature resistance up to 400°C and pressures up to 250 bar.
