Digital Coat Meters

New Concepts & Systems offer Digital Coat Meters. It is designed on the principle of eddy current. It measures the thickness of non-conducting coating on conducting base. It is useful for measurement of coating of Phosphates, Paint, Varnishes, Teflon, Rubber, and FRP on M.S, SS, Brass, Aluminum etc and Anodizing of Aluminium. Calibration is easy with ZEO and CAL knobs. Test foils and Test pieces are also supplied, which helps the user to set the instrument to utmost accuracy. It has spring loaded probe for constant force. The probe has V groove for cylindrical parts. The measuring range of the Instrument is 0-1200 microns with resolution of 1 micron throughout the range. The reading is displayed on LCD display. It works on 9 volts dry battery and has a separate indicator for Battery check. Auto OFF facility is incorporated to extend the Battery life.
