Height Measuring Station Provides Flexibility, Accuracy And One-Touch Operation

The Digimar CX 1 height measuring station is said to quickly, easily and accurately measure heights and distances of bores, shafts axes, surfaces, edges, grooves and more. A removable control and evaluation component includes 16 pre-programmed pictograph keys which execute the most common 1D and 2D measuring functions with a single touch. An alpha-numeric keypad coupled with a step-by-step teach-in program allows the user to easily create and store up to 40 simple or complex custom measurement routines. The control device also provides data via an RS-232 port for statistical evaluation in the, form of control charts, histograms and Pareto charts. The CX 1 has a maximum measuring range of 36.5", measuring accuracy of 0.00015"(? over the entire range), repeatability (plane) 0.5 micrometer, and repeatability (bore) 1 micrometer. An incremental measuring system, dynwnic probe technology and a sealed, protected glass scale contribute to the measuring station's exceptional accuracy and repeatability. For greater measurement flexibility, the height measuring station's control and evaluation instrument can also take SPC output from up to four measuring devices, including dial and caliper gauges. An optional infrared-controlled printer lets the user remotely print measurement results.
