Pennant Engineering offers Coating Thickness Measuring Instruments. It is used for measuring coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. "QuiNix-Keyless" model with wide LED display uses wireless data transfer and has no keys or buttons, cables. The extremely simple model "Crash Check" with colour LED indicators for good, warning and suspicion, helps identify original old paint, brando or rust and below-the-surface defects, its popular with new-car dealers for - body shop repairs and collision estimation, insurance adjusters, and car appraisers. Accurate instruments with wide LED display and choice of measurement in microns and mils, selection of probes from interchangeable dual types, right-angle for narrow and difficult to reach spots and underwater probes with cable up to 100 m suitable for tanks, tubes, etc. Various models are available for PC interfacing with RS 232 or wireless data transfer. It also features optional statistical software for individual values, standard deviations, histograms, average, max and min values, variation coefficient in percentage and more.
