Advanced Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement Gauge

EPD Technology Corporation of USA offers an advanced hand held ultrasonic thickness measurement gauge. The AD-325F features a semi-custom system in which gate conditions can be set depending on the measurement environment (ie, probe, object under test). It is the first handheld thickness gauge that can measure any echo using variable sensitivity and Gate controls. Various transducers can be used to extend the measurement range. The A scope displays echo readings to detect flaws and corrosion. The B scope displays a cross section of the sample to show the actual material conditions. The M scope displays the reading magnitude. Quick measurement in high speed mode (approx 15 reading per sec) allows quick determination of thinnest area for production line or sensitive applications. High capacity data logger is capable of storing 8,000 readings and downloads to a PC or printer. In addition to numeric thickness, the AD-3251F produces waveform printouts of A, B and M scope.
