Vision Inspection Systems

Customised Technologies offers Vision Inspection System, Rapid-I 3.4 series. This is a high-resolution, non-contact measurement system for a wide variety of applications. This is a non-contact, vision-based metrology product for dimensional measurements and reverse engineering. It is designed for inspecting small and medium-sized components, and the standard model has a measuring travel of 200 mm on X, 150 mm on Y and 100 mm on Z (150 mm longZ model now available). This model comes standard with joystick-controlled motorised work-stage. A fully automated inspection is now possible in the CNC version of Rapid-I. The resolution video (800 x 600 pixels), combined with larger magnifications, allows for superior precision in measurements. Part programming and automated reports (in MS Excel) are intuitive and easy. Powerful graphics tools and integrated CAD features (both import and export of drawings) allows for seamless integration of design, manufacturing and inspections. Reverse engineering of components can be done quickly and easily with tracing and drafting tools in-built in the software. It is widely used in a diverse set of industries, including precision machined parts, cutting tools, sheet metal, plastic injection moulded parts, rubber components, electronics assemblies and components, horology, die-cast components, surgical instruments, etc. The other product offered is specially designed for inspecting rotary cutting tools, reamers, endmills, etc. This model comes with a rotary axis (ISO40 compatible) and can also be utilised for tool presetting, checking run-outs, etc.
