Tool Inspection System, 5-AXIS

The 5-axis tool inspection system developed by Customised Technologies (P) Ltd is meant for precision inspection of rotary cutting tools such as drills, endmills, reamers, etc. With CNC operations as default, the TIS2015 can accommodate components up to 125 mm in diameter, and 230 mm in height, and can measure all standard parameters in cutting tools. Automated checking of runouts, shank diameters, cutting diameters, face runouts, rake angles, point angles, helix angles and more can be easily carried out with a click of a button. DXF-based measurements can also be carried out to check accuracy and measure end removal. Wheel pack inspection including offsets, corner radii, angles and diameters can be accurately measured.
