The Vibration analyser 5050 is a very powerful instrument for tackling a variety of vibration problems on rotating machinery. It can measure vibration within a very wide frequency band of 60 rpm to 6,00,000 rpm. The Graphic-Panel on top of the? instrument is designed to represent the frequency response of the instrument. The vibration may be measured in terms of rms acceleration, rms velocity or peak-peak displacement. It meets the requirements of IS 11724 international standards like BS 4675, or ISO 2954. When connected to an optional stroboscope, the unit will also generate once-per-cycle flashes that will make the rotor appear stationary at a position related to the position of unbalance.

- The unit may be carried from site to site easily, as it is the most compact vibration analyser available. It is supplied in a briefcase size carrying case, and in its basic form, does not require a power connection near the machine, as it runs off internal rechargeable batteries. However, the stroboscope must be run off the ac power supply.
